Republic Day 2024 India Airspace Restrictions In Delhi From January 19th To 29th

Republic Day News: Republic Day In view of the preparations and celebrations of Republic Day, restrictions will remain in force in the airspace of the national capital for the next 11 days from January 19. An official gave this information on Tuesday. The official said that these restrictions will remain in force till January 29 but it will not affect regular flights. Let us tell you that ‘Beating the Retreat’ program is organized on the evening of 29th January.

The official said that special planes will not be allowed to take off or land from 10 am to 1:15 pm between January 19 and January 25. According to the ‘Notam’ issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), this restriction will be applicable from 6 am to 9 pm between January 26 and 29. Usually ‘Notam’ (Notice to Airmen) is a notice in which information related to aircraft operations is given. Necessary information is given to the employees.

There will be no ban on CM-Governor’s plane
The official said that this ban will not affect the regular flights of airlines. Apart from this, ‘NOTAM’ will not affect the operation of helicopters of Air Force, Border Security Force (BSF) and Army. Official planes/helicopters of the Governor and the Chief Minister will also remain out of this ban. Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is one of the largest airports in the country where about 1300 flights operate daily.

On the other hand, preparations are in full swing for the parade to be held on the duty path on Republic Day. The teams participating in the parade are busy in rehearsals on the duty path. Army soldiers, Delhi Police women’s contingent and Navy contingent are also seen rehearsing on Republic Day. This time India will celebrate 75th Republic Day. This time India has invited French President Emmanuel Macron as the chief guest.
