Reliance Jio vs Airtel vs Vodafone Idea Prepaid Plan Price Hike Know Difference

Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea have recently announced a hike in the prices of their prepaid and postpaid plans. This news may be disappointing for users who have been availing telecom benefits at affordable prices. Meanwhile, the good thing is that telecom companies have given some time to users to recharge with the old plan before the new plan comes into effect. The new plans of Jio and Airtel will be effective from July 3 and the new plans of Vi will be effective from July 4. Here we are telling you how much difference is there between the new plans of Jio, Airtel and Vi.

Jio plans got expensive:

Jio The one-month prepaid plan of Rs 155 has seen a lot of changes. The entry-level plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189. This plan offers unlimited voice calls, 2GB data and SMS benefits for 28 days. The Rs 249 plan has been increased to Rs 299 and includes 1GB data per day along with unlimited calls and SMS.

Plans with more data have increased from Rs 349 to Rs 399. It offers 2.5GB daily data. The Rs 449 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 399, offers 3GB daily data for 28 days.

The two-month validity plan has also been changed. The Rs 579 plan is now priced at Rs 629, which offers 1.5GB of data per day, while the Rs 533 plan is now priced at Rs 629, which offers 2GB of data per day for 56 days.

In the plans with higher validity, the Rs 666 plan with three months validity is now available for Rs 799. It offers 1.5GB data per day. The Rs 999 plan has increased to Rs 1199, which includes 3GB daily data for 84 days. The Rs 2,999 annual plan is now available for Rs 3599, which offers 2.5GB data per day for the whole year.

Airtel plans became expensive:

Airtel The Rs 179 prepaid plan has been increased to Rs 199, the Rs 455 plan to Rs 599 and the Rs 1,799 prepaid plan to Rs 1,999. The Rs 265 plan has been made Rs 299. The Rs 299 plan is now Rs 349. For the Rs 359 plan, you will have to pay Rs 409. The Rs 399 plan will be available for Rs 449.

The price of the Rs 479 plan has been increased to Rs 579, the Rs 549 plan to Rs 649, the Rs 719 plan to Rs 859, the Rs 839 plan to Rs 979 and the Rs 2,999 plan to Rs 3,599. Data add-on plans which used to start at just Rs 19 will now be available for Rs 22. It gives 1GB data with a validity of one day. The Rs 29 plan will now be available for Rs 33 and for the Rs 65 plan, one will have to pay Rs 77.

Vodafone Idea made plans expensive:

Vodafone Idea has changed its prepaid plan. The plan of Rs 179 with a validity of 28 days has been increased to Rs 199. The plan with a validity of 84 days has been increased from Rs 459 to Rs 509. For long validity, the plan with a validity of 365 days has now been increased from Rs 1799 to Rs 1999.

The price of the Rs 269 plan has increased to Rs 299. The Rs 299 plan has increased to Rs 349. The Rs 319 plan has increased to Rs 379. The price of the plan with 56 days validity has increased from Rs 479 to Rs 579. The Rs 539 plan has increased to Rs 649.

The plan with 84 days validity is now priced at Rs 719 and Rs 859. The plan with Rs 839 has become Rs 979. The plan with 365 days validity has become Rs 3499 from Rs 2899. The plans with data add-on have become expensive. The plan of Rs 19 has become Rs 22, while the plan of Rs 39 has become Rs 48.
