Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS summit and held a bilateral meeting. PM during meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin Narendra Modi said, “I express my heartfelt gratitude for your friendship, warm welcome and hospitality. It is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to come to the beautiful city of Kazan for the BRICS Summit. These relations are deep and historical and will be further strengthened by the opening of India’s new embassy in Kazan.
