Rajya Sabha Election 2024 Samajwadi Party And Bjp Active On Rld And Om Prakash Rajbhar Before Voting

Rajya Sabha Election 2024: Candidates are in the fray for ten Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. Among them, there are eight candidates from BJP and three candidates from Samajwadi Party. But it is proving difficult for political parties to retain their MLAs. According to the number of MLAs, BJP can win seven of its candidates while SP can win two candidates, but winning one seat is going to create problems for both BJP and SP.

There is no doubt on the results of nine out of 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, but both the parties do not have enough votes to make the tenth candidate win, hence now the eyes of BJP and Samajwadi Party are fixed on cross voting. Despite the whip being issued, MLAs can vote for another party, because membership is not lost through cross voting in this election.

RLD and Rajbhar are big challenges for BJP
BJP is completely confident of winning 7 out of 10 seats in the Rajya Sabha elections, while Samajwadi Party’s victory on 2 seats is considered almost certain. It is becoming difficult for political parties to retain their MLAs in the Rajya Sabha elections. The biggest danger of cross voting is from the MLAs of the opposition party SP. It is no less than a challenge to keep RLD and SubhaSP, who are in NDA’s camp, in your camp.

Akhilesh Yadav took command
Cross voting in Rajya Sabha elections does not result in losing his membership. MLAs must show the ballot paper to their party’s polling agent. This means that SP has changed the loyalty of its MLA, but cannot cancel his membership. At the same time, SP President Akhilesh Yadav is also identifying those MLAs in RLD and SubhaSP who can give him boats. Along with this, he is also meeting those MLAs who are considered to be weak links. The parties have become alert and started trying to save their boat.
