Rajasthan Lok Sabha Elections Result 2024: Congress’s Ummedram Beniwal is leading in Rajasthan’s Barmer seat. According to the Election Commission, he is leading by 27760 votes in the second round of voting. He is leading by 100 votes. On this seat, he is pitted against independent candidate Ravindra Singh Bhati and Union Minister Kailash Choudhary. A total of 11 candidates have contested on this seat.

Ravindra Singh Bhati is trailing by 27760 votes. Kailash Choudhary is trailing by 56897 votes. The Barmer seat was being discussed especially because of Ravindra Singh Bhati, who despite being an independent candidate, was successful in drawing crowds to his rallies and meetings. He has a track record of winning elections as an independent. In the 2023 assembly elections, he won the Shiv assembly seat as an independent. Earlier, he was also elected president as an independent in the university student union elections. Probably encouraged by these two victories, he entered the fray against the Union Minister.

More than 75 percent voting in Barmer
Voting for the Barmer seat was held on 26 April in the second phase. A total of 61.34 percent voting took place in Rajasthan while 75.93 percent voting took place in Barmer. Sometimes Congress and sometimes BJP has won the Barmer seat. BJP has been winning for the last two elections. In 2014, Sona Ram won this seat.

Kailash Chaudhary is far behind the Congress candidate
