Jodhpur News: In the Modi Government 3.0 at the Centre, Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been given a place in the cabinet again. He has been made the Union Minister of Tourism and Culture. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reached Jodhpur for the first time after becoming a Union Minister. During this, he was welcomed throughout the city.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held a meeting with the officials and gave them necessary guidelines. Union Minister Shekhawat’s tour continued throughout the day today on Sunday (30 June). Talking exclusively to ABP News, he said that Rajasthan is a region connected to tourism and culture.

‘World’s largest museum in India’
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given me the responsibility of taking the field of tourism and culture forward. I am committed to this task.” During this, he said that “The biggest museum in the world is in France, but in the coming days, India will have the biggest museum. Preparations for building the museum have been completed. Every aspect of the country and its culture will be reflected in this museum.”

Grand welcome in Jodhpur on becoming a minister
Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reached Parliament after winning the Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive time. During this period, he was also a minister at the Centre three times. After becoming a minister, he reached Jodhpur by train today on Sunday (30 June). BJP workers and city residents welcomed him with great pomp at the railway station.

While interacting with the media at Jodhpur’s Circuit House, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “Tourism is an important wheel of the economy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed faith in me to increase its speed.” For this, Shekhawat expressed his gratitude to the entire countrymen and PM Modi.

‘India will lead the World Heritage Committee’
On this occasion, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “This time India will lead the World Heritage Committee. The committee will work under the chairmanship of India. 126 countries will be included in this committee.” He said, “In the coming days, a conference of all these countries included in the World Heritage Committee is going to be held in India. This will be a golden opportunity for Rajasthan, when our heritage will get recognition on the world stage.”

Powerhouse of the local tourism economy
Shekhawat said, “There is immense potential in tourism. 2 to 3 crore tourists visit Thailand, Dubai, Singapore and other countries. Whereas only 1 crore tourists come to India, but the biggest thing is that 20 crore local tourists travel in India. Due to which India’s economy has emerged as a powerhouse in this period of recession.”

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat taunts the opposition
Taking a dig at the opposition, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the opposition is venting its anger of defeat and rejection by the people in the temple of democracy, they should know that the people have rejected them and given the NDA a full majority for the third time.

Praising the central government, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “The NDA government is the first government of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “We are working under the resolution of the country.” He further said, “We are working for the development of the country and the security of the country’s borders.”
