Rajasthan Bribery Case ACB Arrest two Jodhpur Police constables red handed taking bribe ANN

Jodhpur News Today: On the instructions of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Headquarters, the ACB Pali Second Unit took major action in the case of corruption and bribery. On Monday (1 July), the ACB arrested two constables posted at Khanda Falsa Police Station of Jodhpur Police Commissionerate East red handed while taking bribe from a complainant in the name of helping him.

Both the arrested accused constables Jaimal Ram and Narendra Kumar Khanda are posted in Falsa police station. Both the accused demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from the complainant in the name of helping him in a case. After the complaint, both the accused were arrested red handed by the ACB.

The victim had complained to ACB
Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General of Police Dr Ravi Prakash Mehara said that a complaint to this effect was given by the complainant to the Pali Second Unit of the ACB.

The accused constables Jaimal Ram and Narendra Kumar were harassing the complainant by demanding a bribe of Rs 25,000 in the name of Sub-Inspector Deu, the investigating officer in the case registered at Khanda Falsa Police Station, in lieu of helping in the case.

The role of the investigating officer will be investigated
On the complaint received by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the ACB took action under the supervision of Jodhpur’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Harendra Mahawar. Today, the team laid a trap under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Khiv Singh of ACB Pali Second Unit.

After which constables Jaimal Ram and Narendra Kumar posted at Khana Falsa police station of Jodhpur Police Commissionerate East were arrested red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from the complainant. The role of investigating officer Deu Sub Inspector Police Station Falsa is being investigated for taking bribe in the name of help in the case.

Raids on the hideouts of the accused
The accused are being questioned under the supervision of Additional Director General of Police Smita Shrivastava of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Apart from this, search operations are going on at the residences and other hideouts of the accused. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and has started further investigation.

The Director General of ACB made this appeal
Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General of Police Dr Ravi Prakash Meharda has appealed to the people to contact ACB’s toll-free helpline number 1084 and WhatsApp helpline number 94135-02834 24X7 and complain against corruption, so that corruption can be curbed. He said that ACB will provide full help in getting your legitimate work done.
