The party has expelled BJP leader Sandeep Dayma, who called Gurudwaras a cancer in the election meeting of Rajasthan Assembly. On Sunday, Rajasthan BJP State Press Secretary Hardev Singh Ubha took action against Dayma and issued a letter, in which he was informed about his expulsion.
Actually, BJP leader Sandeep Dayma was giving a speech in an election meeting in Alwar. During this time he called Gurudwaras a disease. People of Sikh community protested against this statement of Dayma. Punjab BJP leaders also came out in protest against Dayma’s statement and demanded action from the party high command. Apart from this, a complaint was also lodged against Dayma at Chandigarh Police Station Sector 39. Regarding the matter, BJP leaders said that BJP has always stood with the Sikh community and will always stand with it.
Shiromani Gurdwara Manager’s Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal had also objected to the statement of BJP leader Dayma. Against the statement, he even reminded the Sikhs of their sacrifices for Sanatan Dharma. Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal had also expressed opposition to Dayma’s statement.
In view of the increasing opposition, Dayma had also apologized for her statement. As an apology, he released a video and said – I don’t know how these words about Gurudwaras came out of my mouth. I was talking about mosques and madrassas. I cannot even think like this about the people of Sikh community who made sacrifices for Sanatan Dharma. I apologize for this mistake of mine. After this Damaya also went to the Gurudwara and apologized. However, when the protests did not subside, the party took action against him.

Last Wednesday, there was a nomination meeting of BJP candidate Baba Balaknath on Tijara assembly seat of Alwar. Many BJP leaders including Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath participated in it. During this, BJP leader Sandeep Dayma, while giving a speech, said – ‘The way Gurdwaras were built in Tijara and abandoned, they will turn into canker sores in the future. It is our duty to uproot it and throw it away.
