New Delhi. BCCI has showered money on the Indian team after winning the T20 World Cup. The Indian board has announced a prize money of Rs 125 crore. India won the trophy by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday night. The Indian team won the title by remaining undefeated throughout the tournament. This is India’s second World Cup trophy in T20. Earlier, the Indian team won the T20 World Cup in 2007 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced the prize money for the T20 World Cup winning team on Sunday evening.
