New Delhi. Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid has got the first contract of his career. He has got this contract in Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 League. Last season’s runner-up Mysore Warriors has bought Samit Dravid for Rs 50,000. Samit does medium pace bowling as well as bats in the middle order.

The auction of players for the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 League was held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Bids were placed on 240 players. These players include players like Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gautam and J Suchith.

Apart from Samit Dravid, Mysuru Warriors team will also have captain Karun Nair, Prasidh Krishna, K Gowtham and J Suchith. Warriors have retained Karun Nair this time too. Apart from this, Warriors have bought Krishnappa Gowtham for Rs 7.4 lakh and J Suchith for Rs 4.8 lakh. This team has bought Prasidh Krishna, who is making a comeback after surgery, for Rs 1 lakh.
