Punjab News: Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu joined BJP on Tuesday. Bittu said that he has taken this decision to bridge the gap between Punjab and the Centre. Punjab Congress has reacted to his decision. State President of Punjab Congress Amrinder Singh Raja Warring termed it as political opportunism while MLA Pargat Singh said that opportunistic people sometimes go here and sometimes there.

Raja Vading said, “Ravneet Singh Bittu got full respect in Congress. But still they are joining BJP, this is political opportunism. Bittu’s grandfather, former Chief Minister Beant Singh, kept the Congress flag high in Punjab during the era of terrorism in the state. Congress will not suffer any loss from this, but it is not good for Bittu. It is good that Bittu is leaving as it will give opportunity to more young people.

Meanwhile, MLA Pargat Singh said, “It is a good thing that Bittu has joined BJP.” There was anti-incumbency against him in Ludhiana. These are opportunistic people. Sometimes they keep going here and sometimes there. At a time when opposition political parties are mobilizing against BJP. Bittu’s departure at such a time shows his opportunism.

Ravneet did not take the name of Congress in the press conference
Ravneet Singh Bittu went to Delhi and joined BJP. He explained the reason for joining BJP during the press conference. However, he did not make any mention of Congress during this period. Ravneet Singh said that many states have moved forward in the last 10 years but Punjab remained behind. We have to bridge this gap. We have to do bridge work so decided to join BJP. He asked PM Modi to connect with BJP. Amit Shah And expressed gratitude to JP Nadda.
