Jabalpur Murder News: A college student preparing for PSC was stabbed to death in Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. The miscreants have also seriously injured one of his friends. Both are residents of Balaghat and had come to Jabalpur city only two days ago.
Police is saying that efforts are being made to identify and arrest the accused. At present, the reason behind the incident has not been revealed.

A young man was stabbed to death by some miscreants on Sunday (16 June) early morning on Satpula Road near Shani Mandir under Ghampaur police station in Jabalpur. This incident caused a sensation in the entire area. Initial investigation has revealed that the deceased had come to his friends living in the city only two days ago. According to the police, Shubham Bhomarde, 27-year-old son of Yuvraj Bhomarde, a resident of Balaghat, was studying MCA course in Rani Durgavati University.
Just 2 days ago, he had come to Jabalpur to get the necessary books for PSC preparation. During this time, he was staying with his friends in Samadiya Colony located on Bima Hospital Road.
Both Shubham and his friend were attacked with knives
According to Ghampaur police station in-charge Bhupendra Raj, Shubham Bhumarde was returning from Ranjhi to his friends with his acquaintance Manas Sahu at around 2:30 in the night. Manas and Shubham had just reached Satpula Road in front of Shani Mandir when some miscreants standing there blocked their way. After this, without any argument, they attacked Shubham and Manas with knives. Due to this, Shubham fell there covered in blood, while Manas somehow saved his life and ran away.

After this, Shubham went and told the whole thing to his friends. All the friends reached Ghamapur police station and informed the police about the incident, after which the police team reached the spot and found Shubham writhing in pain on the road. Shubham and Manas were rushed to a private hospital located at Russel Chowk. Here Shubham was declared dead and Manas is being treated.
The deceased Shubham was studying MCA from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur while his friend Manas is an MCA student in Government Engineering College, Jabalpur. On receiving the news of this incident, Shubham’s parents have reached the city from Balaghat. They were inconsolable after seeing their son’s dead body. At present, Ghampaur police is investigating the entire case and the unknown accused are being searched.
