In fact, last year Canada accused India of having a hand in the murder of Canadian citizen and terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. That is why it used the words ‘rule of law’ in its congratulatory message.

India is eager to work with Canada on the basis of mutual understanding and respect for each other’s concerns. Prime Minister Narendra Modi have spoken of respect for each other’s concerns. In his reply, PM Modi has tried to tell that Canada should work on India’s concerns. If such activities continue, then tensions may increase in relations between India and Canada.
