MP News Today: The gift of a six-lane road between Madhya Pradesh’s religious city Ujjain and commercial capital Indore was given in the presence of President Draupadi Murmu. A six-lane road will be built between Ujjain and Indore at a cost of Rs 1,692 crore, which will provide a lot of convenience to the people of Ujjain and Indore divisions.

In view of the ever increasing traffic pressure between Ujjain and Indore, the Madhya Pradesh government was planning to widen the road for a long time. This plan has been given the green signal in the presence of President Draupadi Murmu. Now a six-lane road will be built between Ujjain and Indore.

The President laid the foundation stone
The entire action plan has been prepared for the six-lane road to be built before Simhastha 2028. Several ministers of the government including Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav were present in the program organized in Ujjain. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu Laid the foundation stone of six lane between Ujjain-Indore.

Why is Ujjain Indore Six Lane necessary?
The six-lane road to be built between Ujjain and Indore is also considered very important for the economy of Ujjain and Indore. The traffic pressure between Ujjain and Indore had increased a lot.

Widening of the road was very necessary before Simhastha 2028. This will also prevent road accidents. Apart from this, people from all over the country reaching Indore by air will be able to travel easily between Ujjain and Indore.

Six lanes also have religious significance
Apart from traffic and economic aspects, the foundation of six lanes between Ujjain and Indore will prove to be a milestone from religious point of view as well. Connectivity between Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain and Omkareshwar Jyotirling in Khandwa will be better. This will make the journey to these two important religious places easy, simple and better and devotees will be able to easily take advantage of darshan and worship.
