Where a 26-year-old Odisha government employee has claimed that she lost her child in the womb after the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) allegedly refused to grant her leave while she was in labor in her office in Kendrapara district. . Varsha, an employee of the Women and Child Development Department in Derabish block of the district, said she was in the seventh month of pregnancy and felt severe pain at work. Regarding which the employee alleged that he requested CDPO Snehlata Sahu and other officers to take him to the hospital, but they ignored his pleas. Along with this, Varsha also claimed that Snehlata misbehaved with her.

Demand for action on CDPO
The victim Varsha complained about this matter to the District Collector. Along with this, strict action has been demanded against CDPO Snehlata Sahu.
