Praful Patel On Union Budget 2024: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first full budget of the third term of the Modi government on Tuesday (July 23). The opposition is constantly criticizing this budget. Meanwhile, NCP leader Praful Patel in Maharashtra has responded to the opposition by praising the central government’s budget.

NCP leader Praful Patel said, “The budget has many schemes for Maharashtra and all other states. If two states get special mention (in the budget speech), one should not forget that when Bihar and Jharkhand were separated, a demand for a special package for Bihar was also raised.”

He further said, “Similarly, when Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were separated, many provisions were mentioned in the Reorganisation Act, if the government is fulfilling those provisions today, then it should be appreciated.”

The NCP MP also answered about Maharashtra. He said, “As far as Maharashtra is concerned, the Prime Minister has inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan for projects worth more than 1 lakh crore 8 days ago. Not only this, a port worth Rs 76 thousand crore is going to come up there from the Centre, due to which more than 10 lakh people are going to get jobs and employment directly and indirectly.”

Let us tell you that on Wednesday (24 July) the leaders of the INDIA alliance protested in the Parliament premises alleging discrimination in the budget.
