According to the report, Hindus will remain in majority in India till 2050, but in the coming times, most of the Muslims will reside in India. Currently, Indonesia is the largest Islamic country, where most Muslims live as compared to India and other countries. But this figure is going to change in the coming times.

According to the Pew report, the number of Muslims will increase the fastest between 2010 and 2050. The number of Muslims may increase by 73% in 2050 as compared to 2010. On the other hand, the number of Hindus is estimated to increase by only 34%. The number of Christians may increase by 35% more than Hindus.

Increase in the population of Hindus and Muslims
In fact, in 2010, the world population was estimated to be 6.9 billion, which could reach 9.3 billion by the year 2050. That is, the total population of the world will increase by 35 percent in 2050 as compared to 2010. On the other hand, the population of Muslims in the world in the year 2010 was around 1.6 billion, which could increase to more than 2.76 billion in the year 2050. In this way, the population of Muslims will increase by more than 1.16 billion in the next few years.

Muslims will increase by 7% in the world, the number of Hindus will decrease
If we talk about the Hindu population around the world, it was around 1.3 billion in 2010, which will increase to around 1.38 billion by 2050. In such a situation, the population of Hindus is going to increase to around 35 crores in the coming time. If we talk about it in terms of share in the world’s population, then in 2010, there were 23.2 percent Muslims, which can increase to 29.7 percent in the year 2050. On the other hand, in 2010, there were 15 percent Hindus around the world, whose population is going to decrease by 0.1 percent. In such a situation, by the year 2050, the population of Hindus will be reduced to 14.9 percent.
