Pollution Control Certificates (PUC) will not be made at all petrol pumps in the capital from Monday. The Delhi Petrol Dealers Association (DPDA), which operates it, claims that there has been no increase in PUC rates since 2011. Due to this, it is becoming financially difficult to operate it. Their demand is that the increase should be considered and the inflation index should be taken into account for other operating costs. Also, the fee should be increased to Rs 150 for two-wheelers, Rs 200 for four-wheelers and Rs 300 for diesel vehicles.
