Petrol and diesel prices increased in Pakistan petrol Rs 8 and diesel Rs 10 per liter expensive

Pakistan News: The Shahbaz government has once again given a shock of inflation to the people of Pakistan. The Central Government of Pakistan has increased the prices of petrol and diesel drastically, which was implemented on July 1 itself. Pakistan’s newspaper Tribune quoted the Finance Ministry as saying that the increased prices will come into effect from Monday, the Finance Ministry has issued a notification regarding this. The increased prices of petrol and diesel will remain in effect for the next 15 days. Pakistan’s Finance Ministry said that this decision has been taken due to global fluctuations in oil prices.

According to the government notification, the price of petrol in Pakistan has been increased by Rs 7.45, after which petrol will now be sold in Pakistan at the rate of Rs 265.61 per liter. Earlier, petrol was being sold in Pakistan at Rs 258.16 per liter. Apart from this, the price of diesel has been increased by Rs 9.60 per liter, after which the price of diesel in Pakistan has now become Rs 277.49 per liter. Earlier, the price of diesel was Rs 267.89 per liter.

Efforts to overcome the economic crisis of Pakistan
The increase in petroleum products has created more problems for the people of Pakistan who are already suffering from inflation. This will now have a direct impact on transportation, due to which the freight of movement and goods will increase, after which the price of food items is sure to increase. By increasing the price of petroleum products, the government of Pakistan is trying to overcome the economic plight of the country. This increase has created deep concern among the businessmen and consumers of Pakistan.

What did the Finance Ministry of Pakistan say?
Pakistan’s Finance Ministry has indicated that adjustments have become necessary to curb economic uncertainties and maintain financial balance. The ministry has urged stakeholders to immediately implement the revised petroleum prices. Petrol prices were cut four times in Pakistan before Eid, after which the price of petrol came down by Rs 35.
