Now you will get the exemption of not paying money for a month in this service if you buy goods from your neighborhood general store and other retail chains including Reliance Fresh, Haldiram, Apollo Pharmacy, Tata Croma, Shoppers Stop. Users can use it to pay all their bills as well as buy groceries and household essentials. The company says that the demand for consumer loans has increased during the Corona epidemic. In view of this, the company has increased the monthly limit of payment to Rs 1 lakh for large items like furniture and consumer electronics.
How to avail the benefits of Paytm Postpaid (What is Paytm Postpaid Service)-Paytm said that this service will provide relief to Paytm users in the increased loan limit. This will eliminate the need to withdraw cash repeatedly to meet daily expenses.
The company has introduced 3 variants of postpaid. These include Lite, Delight and Elite. Where Postpaid Lite has a limit of up to Rs 20,000 along with convenience fee.
At the same time, Delight and Elite are coming with monthly credit limit ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1 lakh. There is no convenience fee in these.
To avail the Paytm postpaid service, the ‘Postpaid’ icon will appear in the financial services section. For this, online KYC has to be completed with the partner NBFC. Once this is completed, the icon will start appearing. The bill needs to be paid by the 7th of every month.
This service is being offered in partnership with two NBFCs (non-banking financial companies). These provide Paytm app users with instant credit line or in other words instant loan facility for various payments.
