After the results were announced on Tuesday, when it was decided that Pawan Singh had lost from Karakat, his wife shared a picture on Instagram and told that they may have lost the election but their spirits have not broken. Jyoti Singh posted a picture with Pawan Singh on Instagram and wrote, “What if we lost the battle. We have not lost everything yet. That indomitable courage and willpower are still there.”

The contest on Karakat Lok Sabha seat of Bihar was triangular. Upendra Kushwaha contested from NDA while Raja Ram Singh of CPI (ML) contested from All India Alliance. Pawan Singh contested as an independent candidate due to which everyone was waiting for the result here. However, Raja Ram Singh won from here. He got 318730 votes. Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh came second. He got 226474 votes while Upendra Kushwaha came third. He got 217109 votes. Raja Ram Singh won the election by 92256 votes.

Let us tell you that the way Pawan Singh did public relations and held election meetings in Karakat, it was believed that there would be a close contest. There is not much difference in the votes of Upendra Kushwaha and Pawan Singh.
