On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and admitted both the injured to the hospital. The incident took place in Ramjichak area of Digha police station area. It is being told that the bike rider opened fire near the tempo stand. Two people sitting in the auto were injured by the miscreants’ bullets. At the same time, there was a stampede at the spot due to the sudden firing of bullets.

At the same time, both the youths injured in the firing have been admitted to the hospital for treatment in critical condition. People are discussing various things about the incident. Giving information about the incident, Danapur DSP Dinesh Pandey said that around 7 pm on Tuesday evening, two people named Neeraj and Raju, residents of Digha, were sitting in an auto near Ramji Chowk Tempo Stand in Digha area. During this time, unknown miscreants riding a bike shot at them. Both were injured in the incident. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Both are undergoing treatment. CCTV footage is being scanned. The miscreants will be identified soon. Further action will be taken after this.
