Pakistan Economy: No matter how much the rulers of Pakistan compare themselves with India, now the people of Pakistan have understood well that India has gone far ahead of them. Pakistan now has nothing left except to spread its hands in front of other countries. Top officials and economic experts of Pakistan also believe this. Former director of Pakistan’s Federal Revenue Board Shabbar Zaidi said during an interview that Pakistan did not have any Manmohan Singh, due to which his country is facing economic crisis.

Shabbar Zaidi said that ‘Pakistan was not destroyed by any politician, Pakistan’s army or any general. Pakistan was destroyed by Pakistan’s bureaucrats, who kept working at the behest of dictators and rich people. These people destroyed Pakistan to become loyal to the rich people to save their jobs. I will only say that they were not sincere towards Pakistan and we did not have Manmohan Singh.’

Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi has served as the 26th Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue of Pakistan from May 2019 to April 2020. Zaidi is a well-known chartered accountant of Pakistan. Earlier in 2013, Shabbar had served as a caretaker minister in Sindh province. Shabbar Zaidi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has also been its president between 2005-2006. It is said that Shabbar was working with A.F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers International, since 1969. In recent times, he was working there as a senior partner.

Shabbar Zaidi writes books
Shabbar Zaidi is also known for his non-profit work in Pakistan. He is the trustee of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). Apart from this, he is a member of the Board of Governors of Liaquat National Hospital and Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL). In the past, he has also been the chairman of the South Asian Federation of Accountants. Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi has also written many books. Prominent among them are ‘A Journey for Clarity, Panama Leaks a Blessing in Disguise and Pakistan Not a Failed State.’
