New Delhi. Pakistan women’s cricket team has started with a win in the Women’s T20 World Cup. It defeated Sri Lanka easily in its first match. But do you know that these Pakistani cricketers have not received salary for four months.
Pakistan’s women cricketers have a 23-month contract with the board. According to Cricbuzz, this contract is effective from 1 August 2023. Despite this, Pakistani women cricketers have not received any salary since June.
According to the policy of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), if arrangements for food and accommodation are made for male or female cricketers, then they are not even given daily allowance. For this reason, these women cricketers have not received the daily allowance for the training session held in September.
