After this incident, he was produced before the Pakistan Cricket Board. All three players were given a chance to present their side. Shahid Afridi said that he has been framed. The girls came into the room to get autographs. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the board had banned him from the ICC Champions Trophy. Along with this, a fine of Rs 50 thousand was also imposed on him.
