PCB cited poor fitness
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Rizwan and young batsman Irfan Khan Niazi have not been selected for the remaining two matches against New Zealand due to fitness reasons. Earlier, wicketkeeper Azam Khan had to be out of the series without playing the match.

PCB said that the board’s medical panel, after seeing the scan report, decided to keep him out of the remaining two matches. Rizwan was injured while batting during the third T20 match in Rawalpindi. After this he could not play. Irfan, who made his debut in this series, is suffering from a groin injury.
