Pakistan Railway Station Blast: There was a massive explosion on Saturday (9 November 2024) at Quetta railway station in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, in which 24 people died and more than 40 were injured. Now a heart-wrenching video of this blast has surfaced. Sputnik India has posted on X and shown the CCTV video of this bomb blast. It is being told that its target was the Pakistani Army.

BLA took responsibility for the attack

After this incident, the bomb disposal squad and the local police team have reached the spot and have started investigating the matter. According to the report of news agency PTI, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for this attack. This explosion took place in the booking office of the railway station.

Officials said that the roof of the platform was also damaged by the blast and the sound of the blast was heard far and wide in different areas of the city. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack, calling it a horrific act targeting innocent civilians and ordered an immediate investigation.

24 people died and many injured

He said that terrorists are targeting civilians, laborers, women and children. Bugti said that strict action will be taken against those responsible for these attacks.

Balochistan Inspector General of Police Mauzzam Jah Ansari said that so far 24 people have been killed in the blast. According to Reuters report, he said, “The target of this attack was the soldiers of the Infantry School. The condition of many of the injured is critical.” He said that the explosion took place inside the railway station when the Peshawar-bound express was about to leave for its destination.
