During the elections held in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was suspended. After this, Imran fielded his leaders as independents, 80 candidates also won, but these MPs were never seen under the banner of PTI. Now the Supreme Court has given such a verdict, after which Imran’s MPs and MLAs have got the freedom to use the party’s name in the houses.
All PTI MPs will get recognition
After the Supreme Court’s decision, on Thursday, the Election Commission of Pakistan has recognized 39 MPs as PTI MPs. According to Pakistan’s Dawn News, all these MPs had won on reserved seats for the Pakistan National Assembly. After this decision, PTI has now been recognized as a parliamentary party in the Parliament of Pakistan. According to the report, the remaining MPs out of 80 will also be recognized as PTI MPs within the next 15 days.
Imran is afraid of being murdered
On the other hand, Imran Khan is afraid of being murdered. Imran has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court, in which he has said that ‘prisoners should remain under the jurisdiction of civil courts. But after the violence of May 9, it seems that there was a preparation to hand me over to the army.’ Imran Khan He said that he has been falsely accused of instigating protests at the General Headquarters as part of a conspiracy. Imran has called the May 9 violence a false ‘propaganda campaign’. He said that the real culprits behind this are those who have stolen the CCTV footage of the incident.
