The government should identify the main sources of pollution and impose complete control on them. Apart from this, he talked about encouraging people to use public transport and also talked about taking steps to reduce the number of private vehicles.
Let us tell you that the main reasons for this polluted environment in Lahore have been said to be vehicle emissions, dust flying from construction sites and industrial pollution. In such a situation, experts have advised people to wear masks, stay indoors and use air purifiers.
There is more danger for children and heart patients
According to reports, hospitals in Lahore are crowded with patients suffering from difficulty in breathing, dry cough, pneumonia and serious heart diseases. Maximum cases have been registered in government hospitals of Pakistan. Under which more than 4 thousand patients are admitted in Mayo Hospital, more than 3500 patients in Jinnah Hospital, more than 3 thousand patients in Gangaram Hospital and more than 2 thousand patients are admitted in Children’s Hospital.
Pakistan’s medical expert Ashraf Zia has warned that in this dangerous environment, special attention needs to be paid to children and patients suffering from serious heart diseases. They should not be allowed to come in direct contact with this dangerous smog in any way. He said that in some parts of Punjab, AQI was recorded more than 1900 on November 10. However, on November 12, it was recorded at 604.
