Pakistan is out of T20 World Cup but Babar Azam created history, broke Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record, tops the list of captains

After suffering an upset against America, the defeat against India almost closed the doors of its Super 8. Babar Azam broke Dhoni’s record
During his innings of 32 runs against Ireland, Babar Azam broke a big record of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Now the Pakistan captain has reached the top of the list of captains who have scored the most runs in the ICC T20 World Cup. Dhoni had scored 529 runs in 29 innings. Babar now has 549 runs in 17 innings.

At number three is New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, who has 527 runs from 19 innings. In this ICC T20 World Cup, the Kiwi captain still has to play a match against New Papua Guinea in which he can leave Babar Azam behind. Former Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene is at fourth place with 360 runs. Former South African captain Graeme Smith, who scored 352 runs, is at number five in the list.
