India-Pakistan Relations: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has spewed venom against India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has called PM Modi a killer of Muslims. Asif has called Nawaz Sharif’s congratulating PM Modi a diplomatic compulsion. Asif’s comment has come at a time when Nawaz Sharif, the biggest leader of his own party PMLN, is pleading to improve relations with India.
On Monday, Nawaz Sharif in his congratulatory message to PM Modi had appealed to forget hatred and extend a hand for friendship. He said that this will improve the future of the people of both the countries. Earlier, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had also congratulated PM Modi on becoming the Prime Minister for the third time. On the other hand, in a program of Geo News, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has spewed venom against Modi.
Asif called PM Modi a ‘killer of Muslims’
Asif said, ‘Sending a congratulatory message to Modi is merely a diplomatic compulsion.’ He said that Pakistan has not sent any love letter to Modi. Asif said, ‘Pakistan will never forget that Modi is the killer of Muslims in India.’ Asif said that when Shahbaz Sharif became the Prime Minister, Modi had also congratulated him.
Nawaz Sharif showed warmth in his congratulatory message
In fact, on Monday, after returning from his China visit, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Narendra Modi Shahbaz had congratulated him on becoming the Prime Minister for the third time. Apart from this, on Monday itself, Shahbaz’s elder brother and head of the ruling party Nawaz Sharif also congratulated Modi. One difference was seen in these congratulatory messages that Shahbaz wrote the congratulatory message in very few words, whereas Nawaz congratulated Modi very warmly and appealed for improvement in relations.
