Indian diplomat Bhavika Mangalanandan strongly criticized Pakistan in the United Nations General Assembly. Pakistani expert Qamar Cheema has expressed his displeasure at his Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Foreign Ministry as to why they did not respond to India’s allegations. Bhavika spoke in a very strict tone about the government of Pakistan, 26/11 attacks, Osama Bin Laden and the war of 1971, but Pakistan kept sitting silently and listening.
Qamar Cheema said on this that Pakistan should have responded to these comments of India. He said that it is necessary to respond to such allegations on the international forum, if not then how will the image be corrected. He said that there could be two reasons for not responding to India’s allegations in the UN, either the Pakistani diplomat believed that our Prime Minister had said whatever he had to say, or they were thinking that we would only react to these things. Will not give, we ignore India.
He said that Bhavika said that Pakistan’s reputation is not good, it is carrying out terrorism, so these are the things for which Pakistan should come to the international forum and answer and explain. Qamar Cheema said why did Pakistan not talk about this, why did it not tell us what losses we had suffered, they kept talking only on Gaza and Kashmir.
Pak expert said that the Indian diplomat held Pakistan responsible for the 1971 massacre and said a lot about Osama Bin Laden, Pakistan should also have answered these allegations one by one. Qamar Cheema said, ‘Our foreign officer should have responded immediately or should have asked a diplomat sitting there to respond to India’s allegations.’
Qamar Cheema further said that India has deployed women diplomats at many places, which is called women empowerment. He does this. Pakistan should also do the same. He said, ‘Earlier there was a Pakistani lady, she was visually impaired, but she has answered India many times from this podium. The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan is also a woman, but on such platforms where a more global audience is to be seen, women and young boys and girls should be put forward.
Pak expert Qamar Cheema said, ‘Pakistan’s government should be proactive regarding foreign affairs. If the Foreign Minister does not go, there should be a separate team for that. This team should have only one work 24 hours a day. They may be traveling in the world, speaking or they may be writing or tweeting so that Pakistan can respond to the impressions about Pakistan in the world so that the image of the country remains intact. Qamar Cheema further said that Pakistan’s silence at this time was not right. Either they think that we will not answer them, we do not consider them capable of this, but this is wrong. It is necessary to answer.
