Pakistan’s Asim Munir: This time, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir celebrated the festival of Bakrid by threatening India. Munir reached the Line of Control (LOC) to celebrate the festival of Bakrid. During this, he offered Eid prayers with Pakistani soldiers. The Army Chief reached near the LOC in Haji Peer sector. During this, he told the soldiers, ‘As soldiers, we feel proud to celebrate the festival of Eid by staying away from our home and loved ones, so that we can protect our country and fellow citizens.’
The Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Army Chief offered Eid-al-Adha prayers with the officers and soldiers deployed on the front line. During this, General Munir prayed for the prosperity and peace of Pakistan. He praised the soldiers for their dedication, high morale and commitment to protect the country. During this, General Asim Munir raised the Kashmir issue and spewed venom against India. He reiterated Pakistan’s principled stand in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.
Allegations of false propaganda against Pakistan
On the LoC, the Pakistani army chief accused India of committing atrocities and cruelty against Kashmiris. Munir said, elections were recently held in India, at this time India is provoking Pakistan and spreading false propaganda against Pakistan. Munir said, India spreads false propaganda against Pakistan and under the cover of that, it commits cruelty in Kashmir. Munir said, India carries out false flag operations. These strategies of India have become a regular political tool.
Pakistani general said to give a strong reply
General Munir said, ‘Pakistan has always been a peace loving country, we have always supported peace and stability. But if any country tries to provoke Pakistan and takes any step against the sovereignty of the country, then we will respond to it firmly.’ Before General Munir, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had also congratulated the Muslims of the country and the world on Eid, during which Shahbaz also raised the issue of Kashmir.
