Before the general election in Britain, another survey has predicted a crushing defeat for Britain’s current PM Rishi Sunak. The latest three surveys have said that the ruling Conservative Party led by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will be wiped out this time in the general elections to be held on July 4. It has also presented a grim picture for Sunak’s party. In the latest survey, Keir Starmer’s Labor Party has got 46% support, while the support for the Conservative Party has fallen by 4 points to 21%.

This latest survey was conducted by market research company Savanta for the Sunday Telegraph between June 12 and June 14. The results of this survey have come out when more than half of the election campaign has passed. After a week, both the Conservative and Labour parties are ready to go to the public with their manifestos. People will get this manifesto shortly before voting. Rishi Sunak surprised many in his own party by announcing early elections on May 22.

Chris Hopkins, political research director at Savanta, said our research shows the Conservative Party will be badly wiped out in this election. A separate survey by Survation published in the Sunday Times estimated that the Conservative Party could be reduced to only 72 seats in the 650-member House of Commons – which would be the lowest in their nearly 200-year history. While the Labor Party would get 456 seats.

The same claim was made in the Best for Britain survey

Earlier, in the Best for Britain survey, it was even said that Prime Minister Sunak himself would not be able to save his seat. In that survey, it was said that it has been revealed that the ruling Conservative Party in the country may face a big defeat in the general elections to be held later this year. Not only this, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may hardly be able to save his North Yorkshire seat. Best for Britain had taken the opinion of 15,029 people before this survey. On the basis of which, in the prepared report, the opposition Labor Party has been placed at the top with a lead of 19 points over the Conservatives with 45 percent vote share. It also said that the Conservative Party’s chances in the upcoming elections have reached their lowest level. In view of which, it is being said that they are winning less than 100 seats this time, while the opposition Labor Party will get a lot of benefit from this. The Labor Party can win 468 seats this time.

According to the survey, out of the 28 current cabinet members who may contest the elections this time, only 13 will be re-elected. Former Brexit Secretary and Sunak’s big critic Lord David Frost reacted to this survey. He said that the latest survey data shows that the Conservative Party is facing frustration. He said that voting is getting worse with time, not better.

Sunak’s party is facing anti-establishment wave

Meanwhile, most pre-election surveys show the Labour Party gaining a comfortable lead over the Conservatives. The party is currently grappling with anti-incumbency amid political turmoil, the crisis of rising costs of everyday goods and rising immigration.
