Gauhar/Delhi: There is no dearth of talented people and their unique innovations in our country. A person named Ayush has proved this to be true. Actually, Ayush converted a scrap car into a unique restaurant. Which is now known as Hospitality and Entertainment Maplepods in India. Some people also know it as a car restaurant.

While talking to the team of Local 18, Ayush told that he has studied designing from a UK university. After returning to India, he started this startup with five lakh rupees. He told that he earns about 1 to 2 crore rupees annually from this startup. He wants to expand it even more in the future.

How did the idea come?
Ayush told about this idea that I keep coming and going from UK to India. But when he used to travel in cheap flights, he used to incur a lot of loss. He told that many times he had to wait for the flight. He told that once an idea came to my mind that just like there are Sleeping Maplepods in foreign countries, why not start the same entertainment-filled Maplepods in India as well. Which he then started in India in 2019.

What are Maplepods?
He further told that Maplepods are called car restaurants. There are many types of categories in it. Like cinema pod, gaming pod, dining pod, family pod and there are 100 other types of categories in it. If we talk about the features of these pods, then apart from air conditioner, entertainment screen with 100 OTT platforms, touch mood lights motion sensor and massaging recliner seats, many other features will also be available. The biggest thing about these pods is that all these pods are made and designed in India itself.

How can I make a booking?
To spend time in these pods, you can book them by visiting Maplepods’ official website www.maplepods.com. He told that to book it, you may have to spend at least Rs 2,500 to Rs 6,500. He further told that at present, 8 of their pods are running in India. You can enjoy these pods in Gurgaon, Noida, Pune and Mumbai. Finally, Ayush told that in the coming 5 to 10 years, they want to launch these pods in India and the whole world.
