Oben Rorr has been launched in Delhi at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom with state subsidy). This special price is for the first 100 customers. Let us tell you that this is a discount of about Rs 40,000 on the original price of the e-bike. The company recently inaugurated its first showroom in Pitampura in the capital. Customers can experience Rorr in this showroom.

The Oben Rorr was launched last year and since then the electric motorcycle segment has seen a surge in demand. Booking is being taken. Talking about the features, the Roar electric bike comes equipped with a permanent magnetic motor, which is capable of producing a peak output of 8kW. Its peak torque is 62Nm. It has a belt drive system. Thanks to all this, this electric bike can reach a top speed of 100 kmph and as claimed by the company, it can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.0 seconds.
The electric bike comes with three riding modes named Eco, City and Havoc, in which the speed is limited to 50km/h, 70km/h and 100km/h respectively, but this also makes a difference in the range. The three modes offer a range of 150km, 120km and 100km respectively. It has a fixed battery pack of 4.4kWh capacity, which supports fast charge. The company claims that this pack can be charged from zero to 80 percent in just two hours with the help of a 15A power socket. The good thing is that the company says that it will install a 15A capacity socket at the customer’s home without any additional charge. The single charge IDC range of the electric bike is said to be 187 Km.
Along with this, Oben Electric has also developed a compatible app, which when paired with it, will show many important information related to the electric bike and will be able to control it. Through this, the user can locate and diagnose his bike with the help of GPS. It also includes theft protection (Geo-Fencing), Diver Alert System (DAS) support.
