CBI officer was arrested taking bribe in Bhopal
In fact, some officers of the CBI team investigating the nursing college scam were arrested in Bhopal while taking bribe. It was reported that these officers had committed fraud by including unsuitable colleges in the suitable category by taking money. After this, the whistle blower of this scam, advocate Vishal Baghel, had filed an application in the High Court demanding a fresh investigation.

The court ordered a CBI probe again
During the hearing in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, advocate Vishal Baghel argued that the entire investigation process has been corrupted due to corrupt officials. Due to this, suitable colleges are under suspicion. The special bench of Justice Sanjay Dwivedi and Justice AK Paliwal clearly issued guidelines for the investigation. The court has directed that all suitable colleges will be re-investigated by the CBI. The judicial magistrate of the concerned district will also be present in this investigation process. The entire investigation will also be videographed. Along with this, the court has also issued guidelines regarding the new session of nursing. The number of nursing colleges suddenly increased after Corona
According to Advocate Vishal, during the Corona transition period, about 450 nursing colleges were operating in Madhya Pradesh, but after a year the number of nursing colleges increased to more than 750. When an investigation was conducted on the High Court’s direction on his petition, many colleges were found to be not up to the mark. Many colleges did not have labs, while some lacked faculty and college campus. Even many colleges existed only on paper.

Let us tell you that, out of more than 700 nursing colleges in the state, about 308 colleges were inspected in the first phase. Out of this, 169 nursing colleges were placed in the suitable category, 66 colleges in unsuitable category and 73 colleges in the deficient category.
