Bihar Bridge Collapsed: In the last 15 days, 12 bridges have collapsed in Bihar. Politics has heated up over this. Due to this, the Nitish government has come under the target of the opposition. At the same time, the Nitish government has now come into action in this matter. The state government has suspended 11 engineers. This has created panic in the company constructing the bridge. At the same time, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited has been directed to provide budget estimates for the construction of new bridges and approve the said work.
At the same time, the Rural Works Department has also suspended engineers in the case of bridge collapse in Araria district. Action is being taken against the accused engineers in the case of under-construction bridge collapse in East Champaran and Madhubani. The Additional Chief Secretaries of Water Resources and Rural Works Department gave information in this regard on Friday in a press conference.
The investigation by the flying squad organization has found that during the implementation of the work, the concerned engineers did not take precautionary measures to keep the culvert on the river safe. Also, negligence was committed at the level of the executive contractor. Taking the matter of damage to these bridges seriously, the Water Resources Department has suspended 11 engineers in the Siwan and Saran case.
