Lava Blaze Pro 5G Price and Availability
The price of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Lava Blaze Pro 5G is Rs 12,499. The phone is available in two color options Starry Night and Radiant Pearl. This Lava smartphone will be available for sale from October 3 at offline stores, Amazon.in and Lava India website.
Design
We got the Starry Night color option of the phone for review, which looks good. The back side of the phone has a shining matte design. The camera module on the back of the phone comes with a glossy finish in the same color. Due to the change in the finish, it looks a bit different. The camera module is given in 2 circular rings design. Apart from this, LED flash is given in pill shape. Lava 5G branding is done at the bottom of the rear of the phone. The shining matte design of this phone makes it very handy to hold. In terms of dimensions, the length of this phone is 168.7 mm, width 76.7 mm, thickness 8.9 mm and weight 203 grams. Lava may have kept the price of this phone low, but this phone looks very elegant to hold due to its decent design.
Display
Lava Blaze Pro 5G has a 6.78-inch hole-punch display with FHD + resolution, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone runs very smoothly and this is possible due to the high refresh rate. We played a video on this phone to check the display quality. However, during this time the phone closed the window several times and went to the main menu. Along with this, one had to click several times to view the full display. It is possible that this is a software bug. In the next few days, we will check the display in detail and talk about all its good and bad parts in our review.
Processor
Lava has used MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor in this phone. At present, we did not face any problem while using it. This phone has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage. RAM can be increased up to 8 GB through virtual RAM. However, we have not used gaming or any other heavy usage in it yet, so it would be difficult to say whether this phone hangs or not. We will be able to give complete information about this in detail in the full review.
Camera
Talking about the camera setup, this phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) support. At the same time, an 8-megapixel selfie camera has been given in its front. As far as the camera is concerned, we used it and found that it works fine. The zoom capacity of the camera is good and it supports 10x zoom. On zooming, photos of subjects far away can be clicked, although the pixels start bursting. The selfie camera works fine during video calling. While clicking photos, it supports 4x zoom, so that selfies can be clicked with a lot of details. Overall, the camera seemed average in the first impression. It worked well in good daylight and sharpness was visible in the pictures, but I was expecting slightly better results in zoom and low-light. However, all these cameras are yet to be tested in detail.
Battery
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging. We put this phone on charging with 35 percent battery and it took about 1 hour to get fully charged (75 percent). Its charging speed can be said to be fine in this range. Wait for its detailed review to know how the battery performs in heavy and average usage.
