Meanwhile, a talented person from Koderma has given a new avatar to the bicycle. The special thing is that this person neither has any company nor any facility. He has done wonders by making a Jugaad out of junk.
Everyone who sees this incarnation of the bicycle is shocked. Bike mechanic Tanveer, resident of Chhatarbar in Koderma, has built a bicycle with a motor using bike parts that were going to be sold as scrap. He said that it took about 4 months.
Satbir told that the family was selling an old motorcycle lying in the house as scrap. When he saw it, he refused to sell it. After this, he repaired the engine of the motorcycle and fitted it in the bicycle. This will be the first bicycle in which a silencer is also installed.
There is no separate fuel tank
Tanveer told that during these four months, after having food, he remained busy on his new innovation the entire day. Many of the parts used in the motorised cycle had to be brought from outside the city and some were ordered online as well. Tanveer, who has studied till class 11, said that fitting the motor in the cycle was easy, but after that he had to face some difficulties in getting its alignment done, making the shocker and the fuel tank. He told that no separate fuel tank has been attached to the cycle, rather its chassis itself has been made the fuel tank. Its capacity is around 2 litres.
Working on a battery operated bicycle
Tanveer said that about 45 thousand rupees were spent in making the motorized bicycle. His bicycle covers 70 kilometers in one liter of petrol. He said that people can carry up to 100 kg of goods from one place to another in this single seater motorized bicycle. He said that now he is working on the design of a battery-powered bicycle with a motor.
