Nepal’s PM Oli, while answering the question of MP Deepak Bahadur Singh in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, said that the border issue will be resolved on the basis of historical facts and evidence. MP Singh had asked when Nepal will be able to use the land of Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura of Darchula included in the ‘Chuchhe Map’ (map). In response, Oli said, ‘The Nepal government is committed to solve the border problem through dialogue and diplomacy with the Indian government on the basis of the Sugauli Treaty, various maps, historical facts and evidence. According to the ‘Sugauli Treaty’ 1816, the Nepal government is firm and clear on the fact that the above three areas and all the land east of the Kali River belong to Nepal.

After this, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda resigned from the post of Prime Minister after losing the trust vote in Parliament.
