Prachanda broke the alliance with Sher Bahadur Deuba’s Nepali Congress in March this year and formed an alliance with Oli. Now Oli said that the country cannot be run in the current situation. Speaking to the Kathmandu Post, Nepali Congress publicity department chief Meen Bahadur Biswakarma said the meeting was positive, but it does not mean that the two parties have agreed to form a new government together. Oli’s publicity department chief Rajendra Gautam has ruled out the possibility of any change in the coalition. Gautam said the Dahal-led government is stable and the UML will continue to support it.
