Student organizations are taking to the streets demanding an investigation into the matter. After the youth wing of BJP and Congress, now state president Jeetu Patwari has also opened a front. He has tweeted and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the NEET result controversy.
On the social media platform X, Jeetu Patwari wrote, “Prime Minister, under the leadership of the double engine government, from competitive examinations to recruitment examinations, if any state has seen the most shameful phase, then it is our Madhya Pradesh.
Once again, the future of lakhs of children of the country is facing serious dilemma through NEET. The BJP government is the biggest culprit for this. The central government should explain how there are 6 toppers at the same examination centre? Because in the merit list of toppers, the roll numbers of 8 students are from the same series.”
Questions asked to PM Modi in NEET result controversy
Jeetu Patwari wrote that out of total 8 students from serial number 62 to 69, 6 students secured rank 1. All of them got 720 out of 720 marks. All of them had given the exam at the same exam center in Bahadurgarh. How did they get 718, 719 marks.
This question is because many students were given 718, 719 marks. NTA had said that these marks were given to them as grace marks. Actually, the NEET paper is of 720 marks and even the students preparing for NEET know that each question gets four marks. One mark is deducted for every mistake. Now in such a situation, if someone leaves one question, he will get 716 marks. If someone gets just one question wrong, he will get 715 marks, in such a situation, is it impossible to get 718, 719 marks?
Facility of grace marks without information- Patwari
PCC chief Jeetu Patwari questioned why a facility like grace marks was implemented without information? Therefore, lakhs of students are now demanding the release of the original merit list of NEET without grace marks. There is also a demand that the names of the centers where grace marks have been given should be disclosed. If asked, it should also be known what is the basis of getting grace marks? How many marks were given after how much time wasted? How real are the alleged reasons for wasting time? How honestly were those who monitor it at the centers observing and checking this system?
