While pronouncing the order, the CJI said that the main issue raised by the petitioners is that a re-examination should be ordered as the paper was leaked and there were systemic deficiencies in the conduct of the examination. In a case like the present, it is imperative that immediate certainty and finality be provided to this dispute as it affects the careers of over 23 lakh students.
