Film actor Nana Patekar had slapped a fan during the shooting in Varanasi, on which reactions have now started coming. National President of Azad Adhikar Sena, Amitabh Thakur has demanded registration of FIR in the case of film star Nana Patekar slapping a fan in Varanasi on Tuesday, 14 November 2023 and strangulating him by his crew. On the other hand, the actor who came on back foot said that this happened due to confusion. Nana said that we thought it was someone from our crew and hence this happened while shooting the scene. still i apologize
In his complaint sent to Varanasi Police Commissioner, Amitabh Thakur has said that during the shooting of the film Journey, Nana Patekar chased away a fan who was taking a selfie near Dashashwamedh Ghat by giving him a strong slap. That fan’s neck was also twisted by the crew member. Seeing the video going viral in relation to this, it is clear that this is a criminal act.
He said that the seriousness of this crime increases because it is a criminal act committed by a well-known film star who holds a very important position in the society. Considering the social seriousness of this incident, Amitabh Thakur has immediately registered an FIR and demanded further action.
