Bihar News: On Sunday afternoon, miscreants shot dead a person in Suhavanpur Sudhi village of Islampur police station area of Nalanda. There was a stir in the area after the murder. After receiving the information, the police team reached the spot with full force and then took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The family members have said that the murder was a land dispute. The deceased has been identified as Naresh Prasad, 35-year-old son of Bahadur Mahato. At the same time, after this incident, the police rushed and caught six miscreants.
Dispute was going on regarding land dispute
Regarding the incident, it is being told that there was a dispute with the people of the village two days ago regarding a land dispute. There was a fight on the day of the dispute also. Today Naresh Prasad was going towards the fields when he was surrounded by miscreants who had ambushed him from the east and then shot him in the head and killed him. After hearing the sound of gunshot, the villagers ran, but when the miscreants started running away from the village, the police also reached the village. The police ran and caught 6 miscreants. There is talk that firing was going on from both the sides. At the same time, the family of the deceased told that there was a dispute going on with the people of the village regarding 31 decimal land. There was a dispute going on regarding this for many years.
Police is still camping in the village
Islampur police station in-charge Sanjeev Kumar said that information was received that firing was going on between two sides. By the time the police reached the spot after receiving the information, a person had been shot dead. Six miscreants who were running away after committing the incident were caught by the police. All the miscreants are residents of outside the village. The arrested criminals are being interrogated. The whole matter is related to land dispute. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital Bihar Sharif for post-mortem. Police is still camping in the village. The situation is under control. The family members are being interrogated.
