MP Nursing College Scam: The remand period of the accused arrested in the fake nursing scam case of Madhya Pradesh ended on Wednesday, after which the CBI Special Court sent nine accused to jail. While the remand period of four accused was extended till June 1. Meanwhile, the lawyer has filed a bail petition for the bail of the accused, which will be heard on Friday. Congress leader Ravi Parmar will also register an objection on the bail petition on Friday.

Let us tell you that in the nursing fraud case in Madhya Pradesh, after being remanded, the CBI presented nine accused in the special court on Tuesday. The court sent nine accused to jail, while four accused Rahul Raj, Om Goswami, Ravi Bhadauria and Jugal Kishore Sharma have been sent on CBI remand till June 1. Meanwhile, accused Preeti Tilakwar and Sachin Jain have filed bail applications. This will be heard on Friday.

What is the whole matter?
Here, during the hearing, the complainant Ravi Parmar will also register an objection. According to Ravi Parmar, he will present his objection in the court during the hearing on Friday along with his lawyer Ashish Nigam. Let us tell you that the nursing college scam started coming to light from the year 2022. In January 2022, a PIL was filed in the High Court on the recognition fraud of nursing colleges. In March 2022, a bench headed by the Chief Justice gave notice to the government and the college.

At the same time, the government report of June 2022 revealed that even colleges without buildings were recognized. While in August 2022, after irregularities, former Registrar of Nursing Council Suneela Sinju was suspended and orders were given to appoint an administrator. In September 2022, the Gwalior Bench ordered a CBI inquiry. After this, in July 2023, all the petitions were transferred to the High Court Jabalpur. In February 2024, the CBI declared 169 colleges suitable, 66 unsuitable, 74 deficient in the investigation report of 308 colleges.

On 15 April 2024, student leader Ravi Parmar complained to the CBI about suitable colleges. On 19 May 2024, the CBI Delhi team caught the investigating officer and the colleges. After this, 23 accused were made in this case, while 13 people were arrested. The remand of all of them ended on 29 May, after which nine accused were sent to jail, while four were sent on remand again.
