MP Devesh Chandra Thakur: Newly elected MP from Sitamarhi, Devesh Chandra Thakur, reached Patna from Delhi on Monday (10 June). At Patna airport, he said that let the people of India Alliance dream to form the government, the government will last for 5 years. He said that dreaming is not a bad thing. He also said that Bihar should get the status of a special state under any circumstances.

Devesh Chandra Thakur spoke on NDA government

Devesh Chandra Thakur said that the status of special state is our old demand and it should be given. He thanked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, under whose leadership JDU contested the elections. It is the Nitish factor due to which NDA has got such a big success in Bihar. Today, this is the discussion in every village of Bihar that if Nitish was not with us, the condition of NDA alliance would have been very bad. The country will benefit from the formation of NDA government.

‘Got PM’s offer from Indi Alliance’

He said that our demand for special state status and special package will definitely be fulfilled. Even after the 2020 election results, Nitish Kumar was the strongest face. The 2025 assembly elections will be fought under his leadership. Devesh Chandra Thakur also said that Nitish Kumar had received an offer to become PM from the Indi Alliance, but we fulfilled the alliance dharma. Riga sugar mill of Sitamarhi has to be started. Railway connectivity will be increased in Sitamarhi. Sitamarhi will get the benefit of every scheme related to the central government.

Let us tell you that after the victory in the elections, CM Nitish had already made it clear that he is with the NDA and will fully support the government. Although many speculations were also made that he could join the All India Alliance, but proving all the rumors wrong, Nitish Kumar has once again become a part of the NDA government and 2 JDU MPs have got a place in the NDA government. A total of 8 ministers have been made from Bihar.
