A tragic accident took place in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh. Five people died and more than 19 people were injured when a tractor-trolley overturned here. Three of the deceased are said to be from the same family. At the time of the accident, there were about 30 people in the tractor-trolley. All of them were going to offer Jaware at the Ratangarh Mata temple, when this accident took place at around 5 am near Jora Maithana Pali village of Dursada police station area.

Datia SP informed that on receiving the information of tractor-trolley overturning between Kuretha village and Maithana- Pali culvert of Bhander police station area, he immediately reached the spot and took stock of the relief and rescue work. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment, doctors have been given instructions for better treatment of all the injured.

200 people had left in six tractor-trolleys

According to the information, about 200 people of Deeswar village were going together to offer Jaware at Ratangarh Mata Mandir. All of them left together in six tractor-trolleys. During this, a tractor-trolley went out of control on the culvert of village Kuretha and Maithana-Pali and fell about 15 feet down and overturned. Five people died on the spot in the accident. The deceased include three girls and two women. Two of these girls and one woman belong to the same family. There is mourning in the family due to the death of three people together. At the same time, there is a sad atmosphere in the entire village due to the accident.

Mother also died along with two daughters

After getting information about the accident, Datia Superintendent of Police Virendra Mishra reached the district hospital and met the injured to get information about the accident. According to the police, Kranti (17) daughter of Naval Kishore, Kamni (19) daughter of Naval Kishore and Seema (30) wife of Naval Kishore died in the accident. All three belonged to the same family. Apart from this, investigation has also been started on the death of Roshni (17) daughter of Ramesh Ahirwar and Sonam (11) daughter of Chandan Ahirwar.

In this tragic accident, Pankunwar, wife of Brijbhan (40), Pushpa, wife of Ramcharan Pal (60), Usha, wife of Mahesh Badai (40), Krishnakant, father of Bhagwat Prajapati (13), Sushila, wife of Hariram Prajapati (40), Teja, wife of Laxman (55), Kallu Dangi, father of Jagat Singh (22), Chetram Pal (80), Ramkali, wife of Ramswaroop Ahirwar (50), Panku, husband of Lalaram Ahirwar (70), Pushpendra, father of Nathuram Dangi (30), Ramku, wife of Bansi Kewat (50), Diksha, father of Ramprasad Pal (17), Dhanwati, wife of Shiyasharan (50), Dhanwanti Kewat, husband of Lakhan (40), Veerwati Pal, wife of Pragilal (50) and Rani Ahirwar, wife of Chandan (32) were injured.
