Monsoon reached the entire state on Sunday. Announcing this, meteorologists said that on the last day of June, 63.3 mm rainfall was recorded in the entire state till 8:30 am. In the month of June, 45.3 mm rainfall was recorded in the entire state. Along with this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in many parts of the state for the next three to four days.

According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior meteorologist of the Regional Meteorological Center, the rain will continue. Orange and yellow alerts have also been declared for heavy rains in many areas. Good rains have been recorded in many parts of the state including Hardoi, Kanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Ballia, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Orai, Hamripur, Aligarh, Lucknow. Due to the effect of rain, the day temperature in many cities reached 30 degrees. The temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius in Kanpur city and 30.1 degrees Celsius in Jhansi. The maximum temperature was 38 degrees.

An orange alert has been issued for Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit and surrounding areas. A yellow alert has been issued for Azamgarh, Mau, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Auraiya, Amroha, Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas.
